Welcome to G. A. Michael Sims' 'A Book for all Reasons' (ABfaR), the website owned by Ann Sims and Michael Sims, founder-members of a co-operative of independent UK booksellers 'ibooknet'. Members of ibooknet are committed to the highest standards of online bookselling and aim to provide a knowledgeable, efficient and friendly service to all whom they do business with. ABfaR is based in Lowestoft in Suffolk and has antiquarian, collectable, second hand and out of print books for sale.
We sell books - all sorts of books. Our business is buying and selling antiquarian, second hand, collectable and out of print books and ephemera of all kinds and we know our stock. Whether you are looking for a book just for reading, collecting first editions, hunting for that elusive tome remembered from childhood or looking for a fine condition signed or limited edition we should be able to help. Even if we don't have books from the earliest days of printing, incunabula, black letter books or some hand-written scripts we know that other sellers within our group who have and can point you in the right direction.
